She’s 13 (14 in 10 days) and has been learning English since she was 10. She watches English movies and TV shows without subtitles and fully understands them, has English conversations with adults and mostly uses English sites. Our first language is nothing like English, it’s much more similar to Russian. She wants to learn more languages now – like French, German and Spanish, but I’m not sure if she really is that good at learning them. What do you think?

I need it to be distance learning as i’m currently pregnant and most courses are 2 years. I need distance learning so i can still learn while the baby is around and allows me to be flexible with when i work. I was thinking beauty therapy? I would have a wide range of models to work on. I wanted to train as a counsellor but most courses would like you to be 25. Any suggestions? I would it to be focused around helping people. Thanks!

Is there anybody out there who has a learning disablity who has successfully completed college? If so how far did you go in college? Did you go to college part time or full time? Where did you go to college? Did they have a program for learning disability?

I’m minoring in Spanish in college right now while majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I’m a freshman. I have a huge interest in switching my minor to Military Science.

Now I would love to take this Military Science minor but my only problem is that I don’t want to miss out on learning a language.

Do teaching supplements like Rosetta Stone really work as well as advertised? Or is the amount of language they can teach you limited?

Thanks in advance.

Hey! I’m learning about different types of learning, lol.
What type of learning is guiding a mouse through a maze to a hunk of cheese as a reward??
My options are:
observational, latent, distinctive, and media.
I’m about 75% sure that it is observational.
I was hoping someone coulde confirm or correct?

Thank you!

My child has a learning disability but is not recieving the help he needs in public school. He has had several assessments at different learning centers and have been guaranteed improvement if he attends their program. However; the cost is ,000 or more. Are there ways to afford this program for my child?

So for all those who have learned a programming language whether its real high end stuff like C++ or lesser complicated ones, how long did you take to learn it approx every day you were learnin? how many hours a day learning a language do you think is best approx? I just trying to get an idea how much time one should take when learning a subject daily so not to overboggle your mind and to not take too long overall.

I got my acoustic guitar on Monday and have been practicing at least 30 minutes per night. I’ve learned like 6 basic chords but haven’t really practiced strumming or anything. How should I go about learning the guitar? Should I learn tons of chords first and then try and play a song, or vice verca? Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Thank you!
